So you think you want to be a Socialist

When I was a young 20-something, my mother when trying to convince me to be a Republican always argued that Democrats want to take your hard earned money and give it to people who don't want to work. I said the Republicans want to take your hard earned money and keep it for themselves. Now this is an oversimplification, but I have now come to define two key terms in the context of 21st Century America: Capitalism and Socialism.

Socialism: When the powers that be make a million dollars a year or more and expect you to live on $20,000 a year in a world that costs $30,000 a year to live in because we think the rich are greedy and want you live that way.

Capitalism: When the powers that be make a million or more dollars a year and force you to make $20,000 a year in a world that cost $30,000 a year and say good luck on making it, let's see if you can figure it out.

Personally, I'll take my chances with the latter. Moral of the story: Mom's always right. I understand if you're under 30 and are idealistic. It means you care. But I don't understand why you aren't conservative after turning 30. This means means you haven't met reality. 

The trouble with marketers these days...

I don't know what it is with many internet marketers. They flock to BS and snub tested legit opportunities. There was this one thing I wanted to join called $5 Magic. Man it had a catchy video, so conservative and capitalist too. Well it looked like 'gifting', so so I dug deep to investigate. At first something did not check out. But I wasn't sure. Something made me suspicious. Well it wanted you ...to mail $5 on joining to an address supposedly associated with St. Judes Hospital. checked it out and it was not on the campus of St. Jude's but close to it. Then I called St. Jude's to get to the bottom of it. It turned out to be legit. It was their fundraising office, which was off the main campus. I have wanted to get in that since, but never can get an extra $5 in this economy. I never see it advertised any more. Shame.

Newt Gingrich isn't ahead of Obama, NOW. People are not wholly behind Newt for a few reasons other than his "baggage". People are forgetting that no one in this race has more baggage than Barack Hussein Obama. Barack Hussein Obama is known to associate with known terrorists and people who want to destroy America. The GOP Establishment and liberals are working o...vertime to see that this does not happen for a reason. Newt will surge ahead of Obama once he's the nominee. Romney will not beat Obama. The only thing you can say for Romney is that he's not Obama. The only thing that will save this country is the "Contract". If it had not been for Newt Gingrich leading the GOP, Bill and Hillary would have run amok in the '90's. Do you want 4 more years (in theory) of the Socialist Food Stamp President? Do you want a president that will oversee and manage our demise? Or do you want a Pay Check President who will lead us back to our former greatness and prosperity. Wake up and smell the coffee: If Newt Gingrich is not the 45th President of the United States, America will die and slow, violent and painful death. If Newt Gingrich is not the 45th President of the United States, there will be no more United States.
